Reasons to shop from us

Our goal is to make jams and jellies the way Grandma used to make, in small batches with fresh South Texas fruits and vegetables.

I learned how to bake and can from my mother, Dorothy. Her baking and jelling making abilities were known to all her family and friends and everyone couldn't wait to receive her homemade baked goods and jellies at Christmas and other occasions. Her grandchildren were always quick to run to her cookie jar or her jar of homemade grape jelly. As a teenager and young adult I helped her bake and put up jellies and jams for Christmas. These were fun times for us. After my mother passed away a few years ago, I decided to try and make a few jams and jellies of my own along with a few of her recipes to keep the Christmas tradition going. After a couple of years people were telling me they couldn't wait for Christmas to come around so they could get their jar of jelly. Lo and behold, I must have learned something from my mom on those cold winter days just having fun with her in the kitchen. Really, I think she is in heaven, looking down on me, helping me measure the right amount of sugar and guiding my hand while I follow in her footsteps. This company is dedicated to her and the special love she had for her family. That's the reason her warm smile is our logo.
